a. Monaco Ville

The Monaco Ville district is a picturesque and historic area located on the Rock, but also a tourist area with the Prince's Palace, its cathedral, the various institutions, its narrow alleys with its shops, bars and restaurants. The oceanographic museum is also located in this ancient medieval city, with many fascinating viewpoints. The buildings are generally historic buildings, without elevator neither parking space and consisting of a maximum of 3 to 4 floors. A few villas are also located in this very secure and exclusive area.

4. GEOGRAPHY / CLIMATE

Monaco is the 2nd smallest country in the world with a territory of just over 2km². This city-state is located on the French Riviera, landlocked in the South-East of France. The city of Nice is 20km to the west and the Italian border is less than 15km to the east.

Monaco is an independent principality which has been a constitutional monarchy since 1911, with a Prince at the head of the state. The Executive power consists of a State Minister, who chairs a Council of Government composed of six members (himself and five Councillors-Ministers), responsible solely in front of the Prince.
